MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

It's Christmas! Hope your holiday is filled with joy and candy canes. And if your family is anything like mine on Christmas, those candy canes had better be garnishing a bottomless peppermint martooni!

in little brown birds,

in lying in the grass staring up at the sky,
in fluffy white clouds,
in sunshowers,

i believe in snowy mornings with ice-covered trees
(from the comfort of my nice, warm bed)

in small discoveries,
in first kisses,
in dreams that make me wake up lauging,
in the value of communication,
in honesty,

i believe in unconditional love
(especially the kind that comes attached to a cold, wet nose at 5:00am)

in giggles,
in pink,
in good hair days,
in open-toe shoes,
in sangria,

i believe in best friends who know what i'm thinking before i say anything
(although sometimes it's annoying)

i believe...
in chocolate,
in music only i can hear,
in good food, good wine, and good friends,
in laughing out loud,
in twirling,

i believe in double-caf mochas with extra whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles
(mmm...chocolate sprinkles)
